Round 3 SETXKBL Lake Conroe Kayak Bass Fishing Tournament. I finally get to participate in my first kayak bass fishing tournament. I joined the SouthEast Texas Kayak Bass League (SETXKBL) and launch from Stubblefield along with James Penny. I try topwater at first, then several things before I finally hook up with a barely-legal keeper largemouth bass. I then hook onto a nice white bass. Follow the action as I make my first tournament appearance and start getting some Angler of the Year points on the board. I came in 43rd place out of 53, so I didn’t come in dead last! But first time out gave me some great experience for the next one!
